I founded Arotags to solve a personal frustration, as I was constantly spending money on tacky paper tree air fresheners and plastic vent clips, only to throw them away when the overpowering scent vanished days later. I knew this cycle was not just a significant waste of my money, but also an unnecessary source of paper and packaging waste.

My mission from day one was to engineer a longer-lasting, better-looking, and less wasteful alternative. Working out of the innovative MakerSpace at the Cleveland Public Library, I discovered that natural wood was the ideal solution—its unique properties provide a consistent, lasting aroma and a premium aesthetic that disposable products simply can't match.
